
Militants in the South Waziristan region of Wana Dabkot detonated a girls’ school, on Friday.
The explosion happened inside the Sarkikot Wawa Girls School, according to media reports.
The school building sustained damage, but no one was killed in the explosion.
It is to remember that, a private girls’ school in North Waziristan was also bombed last week.
Meanwhile, police in DI Khan searched Azam Warsak Bazaar after learning of a possible terrorist activity. They also detained two of the shopkeepers selling weapons, while one managed to flee.
