Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) loyalist Faisal Karim Kundi recently took the oath of office as the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at Governor House, Peshawar.
At a ceremony attended by KP authorities and other PPP leaders, Faisal Karim Kundi took oath from Chief Justice Ishtiaq Ibrahim of the Peshawar High Court.
Kundi, who is presently the PPP’s central information secretary, is believed to be close to party leader Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. In addition, he is a member of the party’s central executive committee.
